It is with great pleasure that we invite you to take part in the jubilee 15th Scientific-Technical Conference “SAFETY OF BLASTING OPERATIONS,” which will be held on October 5–7, 2026, at the SPA & Wellness Hotel Diament in Ustroń. This year’s edition continues the long-standing tradition of meetings among blasting technique specialists, which have for years served as a platform for exchanging experience, presenting the latest achievements, and discussing current challenges in the field of blasting safety.

The conference program includes not only substantive sessions but also an integration trip, which will provide an excellent opportunity for informal discussions and building professional relationships in a friendly atmosphere. Original papers will be presented on explosives and blasting equipment for underground, open-pit, and borehole mining operations as well as other economic entities, along with issues related to blasting technique. Experiences with the use of explosives in other branches of industry will also be presented. The lectures will also address blasting safety issues and ways to minimize their impact on the broadly understood environment.

We hope that the participation of a wide group of specialists representing industry, research institutions, and state administrative bodies will allow for an assessment of the current technical state of blasting operations and help identify prospects for its further development.

The conference is held under the patronage of the President of the State Mining Authority (WUG) and the European Federation of Explosives Engineers (EFEE).
